Russia and Tajikistan intend to increase the flow of Russian tourists to the republic several times over. This was announced on Tuesday by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, answering a question from a TASS correspondent.
According to him, such an agreement was reached following the results of negotiations between the co-chairs of the Tajik-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, held in Dushanbe.
“Of the new ones, we have set a very ambitious task – to increase the number of tourists several times,” Khusnullin said.
According to him, now is a favorable time for Russian tourists to travel to Tajikistan.
“We have outlined a whole range of measures,” he added.
