Somon Air has launched regular flights between Dushanbe and Doha in partnership with the Fly.Tj ticketing company, opening new travel opportunities between Tajikistan and Qatar. This new service is expected to strengthen ties between the two countries.
The flights will operate every Thursday, with departures from Dushanbe at 09:00 and from Doha at 12:20 local time. The journey between the capitals takes about 3 hours and 50 minutes one way, while the return flight is slightly shorter at 3 hours and 40 minutes.
Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 aircraft will serve this route, ensuring a comfortable travel experience for passengers. These flights are expected to meet the growing demand for travel between the two nations.
The new service is set to enhance cooperation in commerce, tourism, culture, and humanitarian efforts between Tajikistan and Qatar, making it easier for people to connect across these important sectors.
Somon Air, Tajikistan’s national carrier and a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), also operates flights to other destinations, including Germany, the UAE, Turkey, China, India, and neighboring countries like Russia and Kazakhstan.
