The state bodies of Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are working on the preparation of intergovernmental agreements on migration, as reported by Altynai Omurbekova, Director of the Department of Labor Migration and Social Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
According to her, the meaning of the agreement is to create a mechanism that will allow migrants to receive preliminary training on the topic of Russian legislation, issues of cultural adaptation and obtaining the basics of the Russian language.
Pre-migration preparation should make it much easier for migrants to move to Russia and help workers avoid many difficulties in a new place. It is also planned that migrants will be able to receive a basic package of documents necessary for a foreigner in the Russian Federation even before moving.
