On March 21, the head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and the people of the country on the occasion of Novruz holiday. This was reported by the press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan.
“The creative spiritual principles and ideals of this anciently revered holiday in the difficult conditions of the modern world acquire their special significance,” the Tajik leader said in a message.
Rahmon expressed confidence that Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, with new hopes and aspirations, will continue to expand and develop friendly relations of good neighborliness and cooperation.
Chinese President Xi Jinping also congratulated the Kyrgyz people on this spring holiday. In his congratulatory message, he stressed that he pays special attention to the development of Chinese-Kyrgyz relations and noted his readiness for important negotiations as part of Sadyr Japarov’s participation at the first China-Central Asia summit, which will be held in May this year.
Xi Jinping wished Zhaparov good health and prosperity in all endeavors, and the friendly people of Kyrgyzstan – happiness and peace.
