Parviz Sharifzoda, son of Asror Sharifzoda, judge of the Constitutional Court of Tajikistan, died in an accident in Dushanbe on the night of April 22.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan said that the incident happened at 21:10 on the night of April 22 in the center of Dushanbe.
The Ministry’s press release stated that the accident was caused by the fault of 20-year-old Abubakr Turayev, the driver of Toyota Kemri, and Sharifzoda Parviz, who was riding in an Opel Vectra car, “was moving on his own way.”
According to the MIA, one more person died and four others were injured in this accident.
The opinion of the relatives of both parties in this accident has not yet been obtained.
On April 23, the source of Radio Ozodi in the State Automobile Inspection Office said that the second person who died was also a relative of Asror Sharifzoda.
Asror Sharifzoda, a veteran judge, has been a judge of the constitutional court since 2019, an influential branch of the judicial system of Tajikistan.
There is not much information about the person who, according to the authorities, was responsible for the accident, but the source of Radio Ozodi said, “He was the son of a businessman.”
A friend of Parviz Sharifzoda told Radio Ozodi that “his funeral was read in Varzob district, in his father’s house.”
30-year-old Parviz Sharifzoda was a teacher at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan.
