The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavkizod Zavqi Amin, met with the World Bank Resident Representative in the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ozan Sevimli, the press service of the ministry reports.
Zavkizoda Z. A. expressed gratitude to Mr. Ozan Sevimli for mutually beneficial cooperation related to the development of the national economy and contribution to the implementation of the country’s goals and priorities.
During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations related to the holding of a seminar in the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank on the topic “Ensuring the successful implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030”, as well as priority areas of cooperation, taking into account situation in the modern world and prevention of the impact of external factors on the national economy.
At the same time, the parties discussed the issue of intensifying the work of the Development Partners Cooperation Council, holding a meeting of the National Development Council and the National Development Forum.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to implement the issues noted.
