An Azerbaijani plane landed at the capital airport of Tajikistan, Mir 24 reports . On board were representatives of the company that owns the aircraft, and entrepreneurs. Air traffic between the cities was stopped 10 years ago, because the route was considered unprofitable.
By resuming flights between cities, it is planned to strengthen relations between states. The passengers of the aircraft were pleased with the opening of the direct flight.
“Tajikistan is a country of the sun. There are a lot of good people here… <…> Thank you for opening a direct flight, it allows you to easily and easily get to Tajikistan,” said Nekzhat Muratberdiyev, who was on board the Azerbaijani plane.
It takes three hours to fly from Baku to Dushanbe or vice versa. Such flights will be carried out three times a week.
