The Names of 83 Victims of the September 14-17 Conflict on the Border Between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan

Using its sources, relatives, social networks and local authorities, Radio Ozodi has so far collected the names of 84 people who were killed during armed clashes on September 14-17 on the border between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. This list is unofficial and not final. Tajik authorities reported that more than 50 people were killed and about 200 were injured.

1. Rajabali Sharifov, 25 years old, from Sarvati Istiqlol community, Kushanian district. In October 2021, he volunteered for service. He was wounded during the conflict on the border with Kyrgyzstan and died on September 23 (official sources).
2. Behzod Kholmamatov, 37 years old, has three children, from the village of Kurganchai, Jabbor Rasulov district. He was killed by sniper fire on September 16

8. Nasrullo Askarov, 19 years old, a resident of Kulkandi, Isfara district. He served in the military unit of Otobruya. He was buried on September 16
9. Rahmiddin Kholov, 22 years old, from Afzalii village, Bokhtarian community, Kushanian district. After 5 months of service in the armed forces and in the military unit 0215 of KDAM in Isfara, on September 16, he was killed in a conflict on the border with Kyrgyzstan. (Source: Official body)
