The Union of Tajiks of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), under the leadership of Hodi Oev, organized a festive event in honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, celebrated on September 9.
The hosts of the event, held today at the House of Friendship of Peoples named after A.E. Kulakovsky, were Khikmatullo Bakhodurov, a famous writer and journalist of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Faridun Hotamov, deputy chairman of the Union of Tajiks of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Those gathered on the 32nd anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan were congratulated by Alexander Podgolov, Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Antonida Koryakina, General Director of the House of Friendship of Peoples.
Musical congratulations were made by khomus player Maria Ivanova, performer of Russian songs Elizaveta Glagoleva and representative of Even culture, melodist Alexander Pogodaev.
Popular songs in the Tajik language were performed by Parviz Gulov and a special guest – Zafar Nazarov, Honored Artist and Excellence in Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, who presented a colorful fusion of sounds and melodies, bringing joy and inspiration from the very heart of Tajikistan.
